The NSAI wishes to announce the launch of a period of public consultation for:

prEN 206-2 - Concrete - Specification, performance, production and conformity - Part 2: Conformity assessment and certification

Public consultation period: From 15/8/2024 until 10/10/2024, inclusive.

prEN 206-2 forms part of a revision and restructure of EN 206:2013 +A2:2016 - Concrete - Specification, performance, production and conformity. It has been developed to address aspects concerning conformity assessment and certification previously incorporated in EN 206:2013 +A2:2016.

The document specifies the scheme for the conformity assessment and assessment criteria for concrete. The document provides technical guidance for testing of samples and assessment of the performance of the concrete. It also provides guidance for actions to be followed in the event of non-conformity of the product or negative assessment.

The document forms part of three European Standards, written by CEN/TC 104 and covering specification, performance, production and conformity of concrete.
