The National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) proudly congratulates Oriel Marine Extracts, from Louth, on winning the Innovation Award at the Small Firms Association's National Small Business Awards on Wednesday evening.
The National Small Business Awards celebrates the achievements of small businesses across Ireland and recognise the vital contribution they make to the Irish industry.
To highlight the strong and important link between innovation and these small businesses, NSAI were once again honoured to sponsor the Innovation category at this year's awards. Six incredible companies were shortlisted for their innovative contributions over the past 12 months.
Presenting the award on stage in the RDS, Frank Collins, NSAI's Director of Strategy & Corporate Services, congratulated the winners, stating:
"Innovation is the key to growth for small businesses across Ireland. By embracing new ideas, technologies, and processes, small businesses have the opportunity to improve efficiency, differentiate themselves, and stay ahead of industry trends. This award recognises the incredible work of Oriel Marine Extracts, who has demonstrated a true commitment to innovation in their field. I am delighted to present the 2025 Innovation Award to them.'

Oriel Marine Extracts identify and develop eco-friendly and energy efficient means of extracting and harvesting the powerful nutriends present in sea water.
